Established in 1927, the King Street Medical Practice is the largest practice in Lancaster with nearly 20,000 patients. We practice from two sites, one in the centre of the city and one on the campus of Lancaster University. We are an established training practice. Our Practice covers Lancaster, Torrisholme, Slyne, Hest Bank, Halton, Caton, Galgate and part of Quernmore as well as the entire University campus.  Patients are welcome to attend either of our sites.

The main surgery is situated at 38 King Street   in the centre of Lancaster.

Those requiring car parking will find the nearest at Marketgate, Spring Garden Street, Dallas Road, and High Street.

The health centre on campus at Lancaster University was purpose built in 2002. Car parking is available directly in front of the building.

Opening Times

Opening Hours: Monday to Friday only 8am – 6:30pm

The Surgeries are closed outside these hours (and on bank holidays).  However, for emergency problems you can telephone BAYCALL (the out-of-hours emergency service) on 0845 0524999.
